Material Experience

Embracing craftsmanship in London from a South Korean perspective, I meticulously control and create everything by hand with utmost care. I create visual narratives based on daily life and dreams, which are more symbolic than descriptive. Material is the way I revisiting imagination. Finding the right material while considering the properties of the material was also part of the experiment, and solving the problem of what the right material was also one of the necessary processes. I aspire to be a researcher and practitioner who continues to develop the perspective of crafts, maintaining narrative in handcrafts.
